COMPETITIVE Conservatory

is an opportunity for students to explore a variety of dance styles in a supportive team atmosphere. The program is designed to give dancers a deeper understanding of how technical and artistic elements combine to create stunning choreography. Students learn more about leadership, collaboration, and discipline as they work together toward common goals. In addition to taking classes designed to increase confidence and technical ability, students participate in rehearsal weekly rehearsal classes to learn choreography. Dancers enrolled in the competitive conservatory INCREASE TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, and EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.

Dress Code

Dance Culture Center for Performing Arts is dedicated to ensuring that your dancer is ready for class.  Uniforms are required for all students and must be purchased from the school to ensure Dress Code Compliance.  Browse the Uniform List to see the selections.   After your application is accepted and enrollment is complete, you will receive a fitting guide to help you with your purchase.  Complete your application by clicking the BEGIN APPLICATION  button below.  

 
 
 

REQUIREMENTS

Competitive Conservatory is divided into 3 Competition Teams: Petite Company, Junior Company, and Elite Company. Your dancer will be placed in the company that best fits her ability, age, and personality. A Dance Advisor will assist you in the placement process.

  • With the exception of pre-requisite and rehearsal classes, parents may choose the class schedule that is most convenient, as long as Conservatory Requirements are met.
